Super 2 weeks at DFY Spring Sports Camp!

DFY is just finishing up its most recent Spring Camp at Salusbury School. The camp which ran for the whole of the Easter holidays, was a huge success and provided local Brent children with a fantastic experience to keep them busy and active during the break from school!

The Spring Camp 2023 offered a range of sports and activities for participants to enjoy, including football, basketball, skateboarding, gymnastics, dance, badminton, tennis and everyone’s favourite… dodgeball!!

The camp was led by our top DFY coaches, who provided expert coaching and support throughout the event.

Participants had the opportunity to compete in friendly matches and challenges, allowing them to put their skills to the test in a fun and supportive environment. The camp also included team-building exercises and healthy cooking & food lessons, providing opportunities for participants to bond and make new friends.

We were pleased to be able to utilise some extra funds that we had raised across the year in order to welcome extra children to the camp for free. This enabled us to fill all

of our HAF spaces funded by Brent Council and then add in extra places totally FREE to provide a welcoming friendly space to children who otherwise could not afford to attend. Our schools were able to refer some children to us who otherwise would not have had the opportunity and we were thrilled to be able to welcome them.

DFY Sports is already planning its Summer camp which will run from the 24th July to the 18th August and is looking forward to providing Brent children with another fantastic holiday experience, aiming to be bigger and better than ever!
